PRENATAL CLASS
This class is tailored to your (and your family's) needs. Topics covered will vary based on your history and goals. On this visit, I will help you understand basic infant behaviors; we will talk about your goals and expectations and, from there, create an infant feeding plan. All prenatal visits include up to 1 week of unlimited secure messaging follow-up (before the baby's arrival). General topics covered include:
what to expect in the first few weeks after the baby arrives;
baby hunger cues;
getting breastfeeding/lactation off to a good start;
routines, scheduling, and sleep patterns;
nursing positions and latching techniques;
understanding milk supply;
basic pumping instructions;
milk storage;
common breastfeeding problems - how to avoid them and what to do if they happen; and
deciding if/when to see a lactation consultant.

PROTECTIVE MEASURES
I am fully vaccinated.
I wear a face mask (N95) for all visits.
I am only seeing fully vaccinated families.
I limit my schedule to 3 home visits daily.
All adults in the room must wear a face mask for all visits.
